We use Ontario Dental Hygienists Association (ODHA) Fee Guide  for 2019,  which is 20-40 % lower than traditional  dental office/ Ontario Dental Association(ODA) fee guide

 

 

PACKAGE 1 - INFANT & TODDLER (Ages 0-2 years) - Non-Insured No Charge

Early and regular happy visits promote less anxiety, less cavities, and could prevent invasive and expensive treatment in the long term.

Up to 15 minutes of time*. 

PACKAGE 2 - CHILDREN & YOUTH (Ages 3-15 years) -from $54.00-104.00

Includes complete dental hygiene assessment, risk assessment for oral diseases, dental hygiene diagnosis and proposed treatment plan, one-on-one oral hygiene instruction, tartar/stain removal & application of anticariogenics/antimicrobials (if required, based on individual client need).

Up to 30 minutes of time*. 

PACKAGE 3 - TEENS & ADULTS (Ages 16+ years)

- from $104.00-250.00

Includes complete dental hygiene assessment, risk assessment for oral diseases, dental hygiene diagnosis and proposed treatment plan, one-on-one oral hygiene instruction, tartar/stain removal & application of anticariogenics/antimicrobials (if required, based on individual client need).

PACKAGE 4 - DENTAL HYGIENE SPECIFIC EXAM

 - $24.00

Includes complete dental hygiene assessment, risk assessment for oral diseases, dental hygiene diagnosis and proposed treatment plan, eligibility for whitening, evaluation of previous treatment.

PACKAGE 5 - DENTAL SEALANTS

- From $21.00+ each

First tooth in each quadrant $21

Additional tooth in each quadrant $11

Dental sealants provide extra protection for the grooved and pitted molars by providing a smooth surface to help block food and plaque from getting trapped in small pits and fissures to help prevent tooth decay (cavities). 

PACKAGE 6 - IN-HOUSE PROFESSIONAL WHITENING

 - walk-in whitening only -$210.00

- cleaning and whitening- $104.00 + cleaning price

- Christmas special- call for details Nov-Dec

Using IVERI Whitening. No UV, no heat; blue & red LED light enhances whitening using the latest technology.

Requires ‘Dental Hygiene Exam’ to determine eligibility; which is included in Pkg #3 at no charge. Whitening may not be suitable for everyone.

Other Treatment/Services Available:

 

  • Non-injection Anaesthesia @ $31

 

  • Temporary Filling: Relief from food/bacteria impaction and to prevent further damage to a tooth until the client can see a dentist @ $51
     

  • Mobile Dental Hygiene Services: For clients with special needs and/or limited mobility. Seniors in Long-Term Care or Residences. Add $40 fee to any package/on hold at this moment but let us know you are interested.

*The maximum amount of time that treatment will be provided before additional costs are incurred. Treatment is subject to individualized client care and need. 1 unit of time=15 minutes. Additional units of time for complicated cases are subject to additional fees as per the ODHA Fee Guide. Clients are informed of costs and procedures before treatment is rendered; “informed consent”. Only whitening and custom sports guards/whitening trays are subject to provincial tax.

Payment is due when treatment is rendered. 

 

Option #1: Insured

Smart Dental Hygiene will submit claims on your behalf. All you have to do is ask them to submit your claims online, directly to your insurance carrier. This is good for you because you don’t have to worry about any paperwork or in some cases, even paying out-of-pocket for the service (except for the portion not covered by your benefit plan).

Option #2: Non-insured

Smart Dental Hygiene accepts cash, debit, and major credit cards. Sorry, no cheques accepted. 

 

Option #3 Payment Plan

Stay on budget and organize a payment plan with Smart Dental Hygiene. Pay a $50 deposit when booking your appointment. This deposit will then be deducted from your bill on the day treatment is rendered.
